The installation process should start automatically once you've downloaded Jargong to your phone.
Type in the username and password you registered on our website.
Often it´s best to delete the old version before downloading the new one. Try that!
Go to where you installed Jargong (probably Applications or Games). Highlight Jargong and click "More". Click on "Permission". Click "Internet Access" and set to "Never ask". Click "Read User Data" and set to "Never ask".
Yes, as long as you´re running the application you are online but due to the nature of GPRS packet data, you are not charged for time spent online, only for the total data you send and receive. You can see how much data you sent and recieved in the application under My Settings/Data counter.
No, you will need to get in touch with your network provider and ask them to enable data services on your handset.
The best way to get the correct data settings is to visit your network providers website.
This usually means that your network provider has modified your phone (removed the java certificates) to block installation of security signed third party software. Sony Ericsson K800i branded by Vodafone Live and Sony Ericsson W810i branded by Cingular USA is known mobile phones that has this problem.
In Sony Ericsson phones you can see which certificates you got in Settings->General->Security->Certificates->Java Certificates. If you got a certificate from Thawte you shouldn´t have any problem.
Yes, we like them too they are called Silk and are made by Mark James.
If you can't find the answer here, visit our forum or send us an email to support@jargong.com.
Go to My Settings/IM Networks and click on MSN. Enter your MSN Messenger account and password and click "Ok". After a while your MSN contacts will be added to your contact list under My Contacts. When everything is set up you can use MSN just as usual.
Just logon to our website and you´ll see the Twitter logotype. Type in your Twitter username and password and press the button. The next time you start Jargong you´ll see Twitter in the menu.
As Flickr says themselves "Flickr is almost certainly the best online photo management and sharing application in the world." and we agree! If you like digital photos you should check out Flickr. With Jargong you could now have your online photo library with you all the time in your mobile phone and even search for other cool photos. It´s as easy as that.
Login with your username and password on the Jargong website and you´ll find a Flickr logotype and from there you can authorize Jargong to access your Flickr account and the next time you login to Jargong on your mobile phone your photo library will be there.
Yes, the first 1-2 times you login after authorized with Flickr logging in could take a couple of seconds more, but after that we hopefully figured out how you use Flickr and we´ll save up some information on our own servers (and your mobile phone) to speed things up.
No, It´s almost for free. Meaning that the photo is sent from our servers and not from your mobile phone so you wont have to pay for any datatransfers (except some bytes when you instruct our server to email the photo..).
No, "Send as MMS" will download the photo to your phone and send it from your phone as a regular MMS. So it´s the same price as when you send any other MMS.
That´s correct, it´s not a Flickr feature. That function will set that photo as your avatar image on MSN if you´re using that part of Jargong.
Google Reader is a feed reader that constantly checks your favourite news sites and blogs for new content. A feed is an information channel from a site that you can subscribe to with a reader application (like Google Reader). When people are talking about RSS, Atom or news aggregating they are talking about this. Check it out, it´s really useful.
Account and password is needed to access your feeds on Google Reader so we can display them for you in Jargong. Your account and password IS NOT stored on our servers. We don´t want them. You have the option to save your password ON YOUR MOBILE PHONE for faster access. If you feel uncomfortable register a new account that you only use with Jargong. In the future Google will hopefully let you authorize Jargong to access your feeds in some way without the need to send your accountname and password everytime.
